A: To start with we’ll talk about what you want from your garden. Then we’ll go through our library of books for ideas and inspiration.
Q: I’m not really an ‘ideas’ person. How can I come up with a design?
A: Perhaps not the finer details but the important aspect is the overall plan including the layout, features you want to include, and the materials you would like to use. I will give you as much help as you need to get this done.
Q: My so-called garden is just a back yard. Is there any hope for it?
Q: My garden is over an acre, surely I can’t design the whole thing in a weekend?
Q: I can’t draw, will I be able to do this course?
A: You don’t need to be a graphic artist to make your plan. I will help you to draw up your design - even if it’s your first drawing since you left school. You will be surprised how much you can do!
Q: I haven’t a clue where to start when it comes to my garden. What will I do?
A: Don’t worry. I will provide ideas and inspiration and help you adapt these to your own plot.
A: Of course there is! There are plenty of plants for every place. Even if it gets little sun and is damp or very dry, we can design an attractive layout for it.
